With deep roots in Johnson County, our owners set out to open up a brewery close to home. As members of Johnson County Brewing Society and BJCP Certified Judges, they met years ago and started brewing together and aspiring one day have their beers shared by a community that they love. In February 2019, Transport Brewery opened our doors to the public for the first time. We are honored to brew locally in a historic structure, so the community will have a place to gather over eclectic, flavorful beers. Our staff is small but mighty. From Lenexa to New Jersey, Virginia and Arizona our staff has a wide range of knowledge and craft beer travels under their belts. Each staff member is also a Cicerone Certified Beer Server who possesses the skills needed to understand, explain and enjoy our beers.
