One night in a Topsham pub, a Devon dumpling and a Californian Boat Builder decided to open a brewery. They found a little place in Marsh barton. Then found a mad scientist brewer, who cooked up some recipes… And the goat was born! The goat was well received, and before long they grew out of their old shed. They packed the truck with beer and took a trip up river. With a little help from their friends and between many brewdays they built a taproom in their new shed. On a cold night in December the doors to the Topsham Tap were finally opened. A cosy and friendly place were all are welcome, and the sun shines long into the summer evenings. Music happens there on some chance nights and the beer is ever-flowing.
