About
In 1995 the Sandlot Brewery was the first brewery to be located inside a Major League Baseball Stadium. Soon after opening, the Sandlot Brewmasters created a Belgian style wit that they called Belly Slide Wit. The beer was so popular it was rebranded as Blue Moon Belgian White and the rest of the story is history. Although this is a great success story, the real success of the Sandlot Brewery is the 44 GABF medals that the brewery has won by brewing delicious German style lagers. The Sandlot Brewery has won the GABF Small and Large Brewery of the year. Tom Hail, who has been with the Sandlot Brewery since day one, has won the GABF Brewer of the year. In addition to the GABF medals, the Sandlot Brewery has also won three World Cup medals. Tom Hail and Mike Miller are still brewing these award winning German Style Lagers at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field. Take in a Rockies baseball game and enjoy some of the Sandlot beers that are sold throughout the stadium.
