The Royal Oak Brewery opened in 1995 in trendy downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. Located one block east of Main Street, it has become an area institution. The comfortable atmosphere and hometown feel make it a destination for locals and visitors alike. The brewery serves 6-7 fresh beers on tap daily. The Royal Oak Brewery brews our award winning ales and lagers on a 14 Barrel Specific Mechanical system. The brewing system was custom fabricated to fit precisely behind our large bar where our guests can interact with our brewer, Tim Selewski, and enjoy a pint at the same time. With the design of our brewhouse and our state-of-the-art beer delivery system, the Royal Oak Brewery can offer up to 7 house beers on tap at any time. To continue to produce the best possible product, we use only the 4 basic ingredients in our beer: water, malt, hops and yeast. We purchase the highest quality ingredients from around the world to produce the freshest and finest beers available in Oakland County.
