Before there was a bridge to connect the two newly minted states, only the brave dare portage from shoreline to shoreline. One man followed it to the mouth of the Mississippi. He showed up back in town a month later, drenched and smiling. ST.CROIX RIVER — EST.2021 Over the last few months, you may have noticed a few changes on (and behind) Main Street as the space that held Maple Island Brewing Co. went through a transformation. That transformation was more than just our physical space. Over the past year, our team has been designing and building a year-round gathering space and a new lineup of brews for locals and those passing through Stillwater. So, Maple Island Brewing is now River Siren Brewing Co. An homage to the still water that flows steps off our back patio. It is a community-focused place built for those born here, those who have found their way here, or are just stopping by.
