From Alchemy to Zymurgy, we here at ReInvention have a passion for the art and the science of brewing the best beers possible from as many local ingredients as we can. We believe in Reinventing the local brewery. . We started our journey back in our garage. As I grew in my homebrewing hobby, I found a love and passion I never knew before. When I decided to reinvent my career in the brewing industry, it was immediately obvious to me that the Finger Lakes was where our family considered home, and where we wanted to establish our business to serve our friends and neighbors. . Now, we have identified a location to grow our dream. In Manchester, NY, just off the NY State thruway, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. The local town has welcomed us with open arms and we're proud to be a part of the community! . ​George Aldrich is our Director of Brewing Operations; a Biomedical Engineer by day, and brewer by night. A central New York native, he's spent 20 years in the medical device industry managing projects, departments, and quality systems. He has now decided to apply this experience towards his passion: craft beer. With over 14 years of recreational brewing experience, George has won recognition at various local and national competitions, including being a Sam Adams Long Shot regional finalist and a Pilsner Urquell semifinalist. He’s taking what he’s learned from both home brewing and brewing on professional systems, at Empire Brewing Co. in Syracuse, the FX Matt Pilot Brewery in Utica, and Hopshire Brewery in Dryden, and is creating a unique niche for the brewery in the heart of the Finger Lakes. . Kristy Aldrich is our Marketing and Sales Director. Her background in corporate marketing, retail sales, hospitality, and education gives her a unique set of skills directly applicable to this family business. Kristy is a teacher of Family and Consumer Sciences, and has enjoyed the opportunity to share her passion for culinary arts with students over the past 9 years. As the #1 taste-tester for her husband’s numerous homebrew creations, Kristy has developed a love for craft beer alongside George. Her marketing and management background prior to teaching, including managing a winery tasting room, has been essential during the early planning of the brewery. As a Finger Lakes native, Kristy is excited to be "home" and thrilled be a part of the tremendous growth in the local wine and craft beer industries. While George continues his day job, Kristy is excited to be running the tasting room, setting up new accounts, and sharing her warm, friendly attitude with our customers.
