In the summer of 2017 we opened our doors to a thirsty public, and happily witnessed the Protector family grow. Our first hire, Amanda Grover, started by slingin’ beer behind the bar and has since created and spearheaded the entire outside sales department as our Director of Distribution Sales. Since then, the Protector team has grown to include General Manager Ted Bouchee, and Assistant Brewer Mackenzie Logan, whom you can find hard at work in the tasting room on any given day. We began distributing across San Diego County in the spring of 2019 – since then we have begun large-scale canning, tripled the size of our brew system, and welcomed Classic Beverage as our distribution partner in our home territory of San Diego County. In 2021 we added Colorado Craft to our team in Colorado, and 2022 brought us our partnership with Crafty Connoisseurs in Florida. In 2023 we joined forces with Global Craft Distributing to ship our brews to American military bases abroad, and later partnered with Los Angeles-based company Guardian Distributors to round out our Southern California territory.
