Founded in 2013, we pride ourselves in bringing a handcrafted beer taste here in New York State. The New Paltz region is a historical part of New York. With intense history, the name stems from the region of Pfalz, Germany. European settlers from France, via Mannheim Germany which helped develop the new found area in New York State –as the New Paltz. We feel our European style beers (hence the name Pfälzerbräu; “Brew from the Pfalz”) work very well as a premier fit in complimenting the region.
