About

The mission of the Kansas City Bier Company is to produce authentic German-style bier and deliver it to our customers at the peak of freshness, just as if they were in Germany. To produce German-style bier with authentic flavor and character, we brew only with water, imported German malt and hops, and yeast from a Bavarian monastery brewery. We also use traditional brewing methods like decoction, and we clarify and condition our bier through weeks of cold lagering. Time, temperature and distance damage beer freshness. To protect freshness, our bier is unpasteurized, unfiltered, and naturally carbonated. Our mottos, "We put the i back in Bier," and "imported flavor, local freshness," express our commitment to reintroducing fresh, local, German-style lagers and ales to an American brewing industry that was largely created by German immigrants.
