Homestead Beer Company, headquartered in Granville, Ohio was founded in 2011 by Adam Rhodes and Kevin Atkinson. It's the first large-scale microbrewery dedicated to craft beer in Licking County with the brewing facility located in nearby Heath, Ohio.

Join us in the newest community gathering space in Canal Winchester, the Homestead Taproom and Kitchen. Located in the heartbeat of Canal, it's a chance to sit, relax, be restored, and reconnect with your friends and family.

The Heath Taproom is where the Homestead story began. When we first, opened breweries in Ohio weren't allowed to operate a taproom on their manufacturing premises. When the law changed we added our first kegerator, followed by a second, then a bar, then tables and chairs. Before you knew it, we had a fully operating taproom.

Forget downtown, head to historic Uptown in Marysville. Located right in the heart of it all, the Marysville Taproom and Kitchen features a beautiful bar, patio, communal seating, upstairs lounge, and a full menu featuring craft cocktails, food, and more. We worked with a local craftsman to build custom community tables from wood rescued from the Avalon Theater and lovingly restored the space to create a beautiful community gathering space.
