Coalition Brewing was born out of a serendipitous chance encounter between owners Kiley Hoyt and Elan Walsky. Both began as home brewers and received formal brewing education through the Siebel Institute in Chicago. Their love of beer and the brewing process is the impetus for the Coalator Program, which encourages local home brewers to brew their recipes in the brewery and serve them at the pub. Coalition Brewing prides itself on highly balanced, drinkable beers.
