The Brasserie Licorne is located in Saverne, in Alsace, a region recognized for its attachment to the brewing world. Proud of its hometown, the Brasserie has chosen its emblem as a symbol of society: a Unicorn. Synonymous with purity, strength and independence, the Unicorn became Saverne's emblem in the 16th century. The incredible legend tells that a Unicorn would have soaked its horn in the water of Saverne and that since this water is clear and pure, therefore ideal for beer.
