About

The business plan for 14th Star Brewery was originally drafted on the back of a notebook by Steve Gagner while serving our country on the battlefields of Afghanistan. Upon returning home to Vermont from deployment our founders, Steve and his best friend and fellow soldier Matt Kehaya, worked to refine their plans to make their dream of 14th Star Brewing Company a reality in 2012. In November of 2014, we moved from our 3.5 barrel brewhouse on Lower Newton Street to our current 30 barrel Brewery and Taproom at 133 North Main Street where we are projected to produce over 8,000 barrels of craft beer this year alone. Because of this successful expansion, our beer can be found in cans or on tap at your favorite craft beer venues throughout Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. At our Brewery & Taproom, we feature exclusive releases and a rotating lineup of draft, canned, and bottled craft beer. A gathering place for friends, family, and craft beer lovers alike, we frequently play host to live local entertainment and music on our Taproom Stage and many charitable events. At 14th Star, our commitment to our community is always at the forefront of whatever we do. Our goal is to be outstanding corporate citizens and consistently produce quality products for our consumers. Great beer is what we produce, community is what we build.
